Reducing our footprint is important to us.

Did you know plant labels aren't able to be recycled in our household bins?

At GVP we have a dedicated PP5 bin for our plant tags and grow pots. Thats why, where we can we opt for online plant care instead.

Can't see the plant you are after? Feel free to shoot us an email at info@greenvisionplanters.com.au

A

 Alocasia - Elephant Ear

If keeping indoors, the Alocasia needs to be able to the sky from its location. whilst direct sunlight isn't essential, they do require a good 6 hours of strong bright light.

Susceptible to Spider Mites, the leaves need to cleaned/ showered regularly.

Plant may become 'dormant' in the cooler months. If your plant appears to die off in the winter months, ease back on the watering and wait to see if new growth emerges in the warmer months.

It is normal for Elephant ears to shed an old leaf as a new one emerges. We suggested cutting he dying leaf off to push energy into the new growth. Wear gloves as residue can be irritating to the skin.

Light: Bright Indirect

Water: Dry out 1/4 -1/2 way between watering

Pet Safe: No. Highly irritating

Alocasia - Black Velvet & Green Velvet

A dwarf variety of the Alocasia family, the velvety texture of these leaves benefit from bottom watering.

Also susceptible to Spider Mites, the leaves need to cleaned/ showered regularly. Ensure plant has good circulation so leaves dry off as quickly as possible.

C

Ceropegia Woodii - Chain of Hearts

Part of the succulent family, this plant is easy care. Pinch the ends to encourage thicker growth. Nodes behind the leaves can be placed back into the soil for easy propagation. If you have long stems between your leaves, this is an indication of insufficient light.

See our watering hack here.

Light: Bright to medium

D

Dracaena - Happy Plant - Corn Plant

Place in low to bright indirect light. Direct sun will burn the leaves (if the light is too hot for your skin, it's too bright for the plant).

These plants aren't heavy feeders. We suggest slow release indoor plant food annually and weak seaweed plant solutions in the spring and summer.

Light: low - bright indirect

Water: Dry out between watering

Pet Safe: No.
